PICKLES!

Today there was not alot of intrest in eating during lunch time, I am pretty sure it was because of teething. So I pulled out some Jumbo dill pickles and gave each of the babies one and they LOVED them! Brooke and Ben have enough teeth to pull pieces off and they both would spit out the pieces but keep knawing on the pickle! Blake just went to town chewing away, he only has 1 tooth that just came through so no pieces for him. They were not shy for the camera showing how much they love PICKLES!!!

For the Military families there is a play group on Monday and Wednesday mornings that is free until the babies are 1 year old. We don't go every week but after the fun the babies had today we will have to fit it into our weekly routine. They were exploring everywhere, I did not stop chasing them the whole time we were there. There is some free playtime and at the end there are songs and dancing, it will be nice when the babies are walking and they can join in on the singing and dancing too!

Brooke & Blake on ride on toys!

Ben is very happy watching others, but today he really got up and moved around everywhere!!!

Blake on the move! Always!

This is Brooklynn's thingking face! Hmmmmm, where should I go???

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!

We are now coming to the realization that our "babies" are becoming toddlers!! I was spending time with Brooklynn and Ben as Blake was still taking a nap upstairs, I hear Blake awake and went upstairs to get him and came back to Brooklynn and Ben in a Kitchen drawer!!! I put Blake down to get the camera and before I knew it he was right there with his brother and sister! I was gone less than 1 minute and they were already getting into things, it's like they know when they "have a chance" to get something while I am gone! lol! So now Carl and I have started to accept the fact that we no longer have infants...... =( Our lives are just as busy but now except instead of running around making a ton of bottles, changing 35 diapers a day and waking many times in the middle of the night we are just chasing them!

Sunday Matinee!!!!!

It's official this is our first Sunday Matinee! We will be uploading multiple video's on Sunday's so you can see the babies in real time in addition to pictures! We hope you all enjoy!

Blake playing with daddy and mimicking him!

We have finally found sippy cups that the babies can drink out of! They are a straw sippy cup, Brooke is very good at it and it only took her about 2 seconds to figure it out! Ben does a great job too! Blake still just plays with it like a toy but he will get it soon!

Brooke had another Milestone yesterday on October 1st! She started clapping, this video is actually the first time she did it as you will be able to tell from my reaction!

CAUTION!!! This video contains laughter that WILL be contagious! Watch at your own risk!

We hope you have enjoyed our first set of "Home movies"!

Goats!

We took a family trip to the zoo and took the babies into the Goat pen! They were very interested in the goats, they absolutely love our dog Delilah so we knew they would love the goats too! After walking around for a bit we let the kiddos *loose* on the ground to get some energy out and they did alot of exploring!

Water play with friends

Brooke playing with the sprinkler
Blake with the Sprinkler

Ben staying very far away! He loves water but only WARM water!

We always spend our evenings outside letting the babies play and hanging our with our awesome neighbors!! The older kids were playing in the sprinkler and we were going to just take the babies inside because we did not wat to keep chasing them away from the water, but instead we just took off their clothes and let them go at it! Ahhh, they joys of living somewhere WARM!!! Blake had a blast crawling toward the sprinkler and as soon as it would hit him he crawled away as fast as he could! Brooke would go to it and when the water hit her it was a SHOCK! Ben stayed far, far away, lol!!!

Its been a while....We have been BUSY!!!

Hey everyone!!
Sorry it has been a WHILE since my last post.......As I am sure most of you can imagine things have been pretty hectic! =) So much has changed in this past month and a half, I am not going to go back and enter old entries just going to start fresh! The babies are now a little over 10 months old, we cannot believe they are almost 1!

Our days are very busy filled with feedings, making bottles, diaper changes, play dates, playgroups, naps, house cleaning, laundry, bath times, and just keeping little hands as busy as possible! =) Don't worry Carl and I still find time to reconnect as much as we can, right now we get about 1 date night a month and hoping to make it 2 a month soon! =) The babies have changed so much, and they are each very different in their own way. Since they are 10 months old now we will make this our catch up post and 10 month update!
Benjamin is our little SWEETHEART with a SPICY temper. Ben is a quiet little man who is content to play by himself and will occasionally join Blake and Brooke for some playtime, he is becoming more sociable! Is our army crawling machine, he gets anywhere he wants pretty fast! He has started pulling himself to a standing position and is becoming more stable on his little feet. Ben also loves to dance!!! When any song comes on or Carl and I sing he rocks back and fourth, it is the cutest thing ever!!! We love our Benny boy!!! At 9 months he was 17lbs 7oz!

Blake is a MOVER!! He is always on the go no matter where we are, he loves to explore and touch everything with his little hands. Blake is a very sociable little man who needs constant stimulation otherwise he gets bored, so our minds are constantly turning to find him new things to do and to play with. He has been pulling himself to a standing position for quite a while now and is *crusing* around the furniture. He can also be VERY sensitive, if you leave a room or close a gate so he can't follow you its like the end of the world to him. We love our Blakey!! At 9 months old he was 17lbs 1oz!
Brooklynn is a little PRINCESS with a bit of her mommies attitude!! She is Blakes little shadow, she follows him everywhere and does everything he does. She is pretty content with everyday activities but will occasionally need some extra cuddles and love! She also has been pulling to a standing postion for quite some time, she learned from following Blake, and she is now also *crusing* furniture. She is very much a mommy/daddy's girl, she also gets very upset if you leave her and she wants you around! We love our Brookie Face!!! at 9 months she was 15lbs 1oz
