Today our trio is 5 weeks and 6 days old!! The time has really flown by since the kiddos were born and they are doing very well! I dont have a very current weight check our next appt is on the 30th but on Dec. 12th Ben was 6lbs 6 oz, Blake was 5lbs 10oz & Brooke was 5lbs 2oz all growing very well! Sleep is definatley a luxury, the kiddos now eat 3oz every 2-4 hours amd s;eep in between meals. All 3 of them have some sort of reflux, Ben and Brooke just spit up quiet a bit with no pain and Poor blake spit up alot and seems to be VERY uncomfortable! He is on Zantac which seems to atleast help some. They are now starting to look right at us when we talk to them and Blake even smiled at me yesterday, I cried like a baby! lol! Our Miracle trio!

Almost 1 month old!!!

We cannot believe that our trio is almost a month old! We had some photos taken and we wanted to share them!

Our babies are all home as of yesterday the last to come home was our baby "c" Blake. Each baby has a very unique personality:

Ben is VERY laid back and just a really good baby. He rarely cries unless he is cold, needs changing or is hungry.

Brooke is a diva she is a little princess and can make you very sad with her little cry.

Blake is very demanding and impatient! lol, He wants what he wants when he wants it and not a minute later!

Sorry we dont update very often but life is very busy!!!

Wow I can't believe our trio is already 2 weeks old!!! Time is already flying! Our little princess Brooklynn came home on Thanksgiving and is doing very well at home, she loves to be cuddled and hates sleeping alone! They boys are still in the NICU ad we are not sure when they will be home, hopefully by mid Dec, they are being VERY lazy with eating their meals and Blake has a few Desats every now and then. Carl and I are both already tired with just one home, but we cannot wait to have our buys home with their sister atleast then we dont have to take multiple trips to the NICU everyday. Babies weights are now......

Alright so its been a little over a week since our beautiful trio was born!!! All babies are still doing wonderful and breathing room air!!! All three have NG tubes, which allow the nurses to get the breastmilk/formula into their little tummies if they are too tired to nipple feed. Breastfeeding is going well, Brooke knows what to do she may be the smallest but she is so fiesty!! The boys do well its just taking them a little longet to learn. All 3 have lost some of thier birth weigh however its completely normal for their gestational age. Like I said before Brooke is really fiesty and wants what she want when she wants it, Blake is all smiles with a little added impatience when he tries to nurse he latches on then smiles, and we have to relatch!!! Ben is VERY quiet and patient like his daddy. We will posrt more soon!

WOW!! Ok so yesterday was a whirlwind, our day was going as always and we were setting up for a NST at about 11am. About 20 mins into the NST Brooklynn our little princess decided that she needed to have a heart deceleration down in to the 70's, so knowing I was heading upstairs for extra monitoring I called Carl who was at home trying to get our new house organized and said I need you cause I am heading upstairs. We get upstairs and I am told that if there is another decel on any baby that were going to have babies that day, I thought that was alot to take in. About 20 mins after that our head doctor Dr. Hill came in and told us that there was no gain to keeping them in another 4 days and that she thinks they need to come out, so within the hour I was in the OR getting prepped and ready to welcome our babies into the world. We welcomed our trio into the world starting with Ben at 3:21pm followed by Blake at 3:22pm and then Brooke and 3:23pm!!

Ben was 4lbs 11oz and 18.5" long

Brooklynn was 3lbs 12oz and 18" long

Blake was 4lbs 5 oz and 17 3/4" long

Babies are all doing wonderful! Ben & Brooke are both just in their incubators with nothing else breathing room air!! Blake is on nose cannuals still just breathing room air but with a little assistance. Looks like they will have a stay about 2 weeks give or take a little time to achieve their to do list for the NICU.

Last BIG update before babies arrive!!!

Here we are at 32 weeks and 5 days, we had our final growth scan of the babies yesterday and here is what we found out:

*Benjamin is 4lbs 8oz, he is in the 48% for multiples and his heart rate was 130BPM! Ben also passed his Basic Physical Profile with flying colors, he has a ton more hair than 3 weeks ago, he is head up with his body and feet curving down. For pictures he was not cooperative being a stinker as always. Benjamin had a big growth spurt gaining 1lb 4 oz in 3 weeks! He still looks very chubby!!! :0)
*Brooklynn is 3lbs 9oz, she is in the 19% for multiples and her heart rate was 156BPM! Brooklynn was being stubborn like her mommy during her Basic Physical Profile and would not practice breathing, we guess her stubbornness is possibly being a redhead!! (Fingers crossed!) Brooklynn had a huge growth spurt gaining 1lb in 3 weeks, for pictures she showed us both profile and face on shots like a princess!
*Blake is 3lbs 15oz, he is in the 29% for multiples and his heart rate was 135BPM! Blake is still our contortionist sitting all the way on my left side pretty much bent in half as you can see in one of the pictures. Blake also passed his Basic Physical Profile with flying colors, he had a pretty good growth spurt too gaining 14oz in 3 weeks, he was also cooperative with his photos showing himself off!

*Mommy news

I am still doing well blood pressure is holding strong at about 117/68, still no signs of swelling just getting harder to move around! Showers wear me out and I pretty much am ready for a nap right after, its so much work!!! Lol! I am carrying about 13lbs of baby and with fluid and placentas its about 25lbs or so and I have gained a total of 23lbs!! Our c-section is still scheduled for the 17th of Nov at 34 weeks and 2 days! We are hoping to make it there so that everything is planned and runs smoothly. We will update again around 33.5 or 34 weeks!

31 Weeks 1 Day!

Hey everyone! Here we are at 3 weeks past our last really big goal of 28 weeks!!! Still on hospital bedrest and I am doing ok I have my ups and downs but for the most part I just keep thinking the longer these babies cook the better for them and less time away from daddy and I in the NICU. We now have a scheduled C-section date..............Our babies will be here on or before Nov.16th!!!! I cannot believe this time is here it's only 21 days or less! We are really hoping to make it to the scheduled surgery because that means our whole team of doctors will be there to enjoy this moment with us!

New stuff.....

*There really is babies everywhere in my belly, not one soft sopt anywhere!!!!

*The babies move almost constantly, it seems they never sleep! Hopefully that changes before they get here! Lol!

*Eating is still a chore, but I seem to be hungry all the time.

*Last growth scan will be on Nov. 5th!!!

30 Weeks and 1 Day!!!!

If someone would have said my body would hang on this long I would have laughed in their face! We have been in the hospital now for 6 weeks now and on bedrest for 10 weeks, the babies are doing extremely well! New milestones to report are:

*I can now feel when the babies have the hiccups, =0)

*Blake still finds room to completely flip over, under, around! How is that possible with no room in there!?

*NST's are going much better and take usually a minimum on 30 mins instead of hours!

*Weight gain is at 18lbs( which is almost all baby!)

We now have less than 30 days actually 27 days to be exact until our trio will be here!!!!

Alright everyone so today we had another growth scan, boy was it uncomfortable! The average weight for a 28-29 week baby is 2-2.5lbs, our babies weights are as follows:

Benjamin 3lbs 3oz, Brooklynn 2lbs 9oz, Blake 3lbs 1oz!

The babies are growing extremely well, both boys gained 1lb 1oz and Brooklynn gained 12oz in the past 3 weeks. We have another growth scan in about 2.5-3 weeks and that should be our last as we should deliver around 34 weeks. During the ultrasound we found that Ben is no longer head down he is breech (feet down head up right in the center of the belly), Brooke's head is in the center of the belly all the way on top pretty much under my ribs and her body, legs and feet curve down around the right side, Blake's head is right smack in the middle of the belly and his body curves down around the left side. All their heads are really close together. They of course were extremely stubborn for the ultrasound moving around like crazy making it hard to get measurements, but hey what can you expect from three little readheads! (Hopefully) LOL! Also both Brooke and Blake are bald but we did get a very cool picture of Ben's head and he has HAIR!!!!!! So very cool to see! Fluid looks good around the babies as well, still able to swim! We hope you enjoy the pictures today as some of them are VERY funny!

29 Weeks!!!!!!!

Here is a picture at 29 weeks, I don't think many people expected us to make it this far, but we are still trucking along hoping to make it to 33 weeks. Growth scan on thursday, hopefully babies give us cute pictures to share with you!

28 weeks 4 days

Well me and the babies are still hanging in there strong! I was able to have a very nice chat with Dr. Hill and we probably won't go past 33 weeks, so in the next 4 1/2 weeks our babies will be here!!!! I feel like it is so surreal, sometimes I look at my belly and cannot believe that Carl and I created 3 Beautiful miracles! I still feel like a grow more and more by the hour, lol! My belly was doing very well handing the the stretching but over the past 2 weeks or so I have gotten 3 stretch marks which is not so bad compared to some of the pictures I have seen of other triplet pregnancies, I just think of them as love marks from our TRIO!!! I am getting anxious for our growth scan next week, hoping that they are all still gaining alot of weight which with how much I have stretched and grown in the past 2 weeks, I have no doubt! =0) Hopefully during the growth scan the babies cooperate and we get some cute pictures to put up! 28 weeks!!! Wahoo!!!!!!!!

We can't believe we have finally made it to our BIG GOAL of 28 weeks!!! Time has really flown by and I am hoping that it continues to do so. Everyday I feel like I am growing larger, which I probably am and getting more and more uncomfortable. Ben is still VERY low and it starting to feel as if he will fall out when I sit straight up or when I walk, Brooke seems to be moving to the very top and pushing herself up under my ribs which can cause extreme pain and Blake has moved so far to the left that his heartbeat is almost on my back! So I am really being stretched in every direction, I love them all so much and I love that I have been able to carry them for so long but I cannot wait until they are here!!!! I was able to open up our 28 week card today from daddy and he had a very special message for the kiddos:

Dear Ben, Brooke & Blake,

Another 4 long weeks, but the good news is.. You can come at anytime! We or at least I am hoping for another 4 weeks or so otherwise all my hard work on your "Goals Bottle" will be for nothing! I can't believe that soon I will see all three of you come into this world! I am so proud of all of you already. Being good listeners, especially you Ben!! Don't worry Brooke and Blake we will explain why we keep congratulating Ben on this accomplishment later! I love you all!! In the mean time hang in there alittle longer.

We have another growth scan on Oct. 15Th and our hoping for 2lbs 8oz or larger for all 3 babies! Right now they should be a little over 14.5 inches long from head to heel and about 2lbs 4oz! I have gained only 15lbs so far in the past 28 weeks and it is all belly, If you add all three babies plus fluid and placentas it would be around 15lbs! Not to worry since the babies are all growing great! I will update again if anything happens or right after the growth scan.

Fun with the belly at 27 weeks 5 days

Ok so Carl and I wanted to have some fun tonight since the last couple of days have been kinda stressful, we definitely succeeded! We bought some paint so we could decorate my belly on several different occasions, I don't think either of us knew it would be nearly this much fun! During the painting session Carl started laughing and I was looking at him like what is so funny and he told me that when I laugh my belly button also laughs!! So he grabbed the camcorder and started recording laughing hystericaly which in turn made me laugh so hard that I was snorting! I don't think either of us had laughed that hard in a long time! We hope you enjoy the pictures just as much as we do!!!

27 weeks today!

27 WEEKS!!!!!!!

Ok so we have made it to 27 weeks, what a blessing! Only 1 more week to go until our BIG GOAL!!!!!! Nothing has really changed except our NST's are beginning to be a pain in the butt beacause the kids are still so small they move around everywhere and we have to keep them on for a solid 20 minutes with little or no breaks in the strip. Other than that I am doing well, just wishing that I had more visitors or phone calls to make me feel better. Its been just about a month now and I am a pretty happy camper but I do have my sad days, thank goodness for my hubby, mom, sister, family & friends that call me everyday I could not do it without you!!!! Love you all!!!!

26 Weeks and 3 days

Ok so today we had a surprise ultrasound that included a growth scan!! Babies weights are:

Benjamin is 2lbs 2oz

Brooklynn is 1lb 13oz

Blake is 2lbs 0oz

All 3 babies are growing extremely well, the boys are ahead of the game and Brooke is right on with a singleton baby. During the ultrasound Ben was being a little stinker and sitting so low that we could barely get measurements for him, we were finally able to get a profile picture where he had his hand over his face like a drama king! LOL! Brooklynn was sitting face down towards my back not showing anything! I guess she was having a shy moment, we did end up with a pretty good face on shot where you could see her top eye open! Blake of course is still a little contortionist sitting in the most awkward positions. we were able to capture him with his body in a "C" shape which is pretty funny considering he is baby C.

As for me I am still doing very well considering almost 7 weeks of bedrest, I just try to keep myself busy and if I have a rough day all I do is think about our babies and how much healthier they will be the longer they stay inside! I have only gained a total of 9lbs so far in the past 26.5 weeks and since bedrest only 1lb. I eat when I want and what I want so i am just assuming that the babies are taking everything from me. Blood pressure still doing great and my diabetes test also came back normal, we will be repeating the test in a few weeks just to make sure. Still no sign of any swelling, I am also not have ANY contractions at all and hopefull it stays that way.

It was Carl's and I's 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday! He went to an Italian restaurant and got us both Fettuchini Alfredo, which we had on our first date! He brought a picnic basket with wine glasses and sparkling cider, and we enjoyed a quiet dinner and evening together it was very romantic. During dinner I think the kids were trying to interupt already just kicking away, either that or they loved the real food since they have been stuck on hospital food! lol!

Tonight was like Christmas morning!

Ok so today we are 25 weeks and 4 days and we were finally moved back to the "stable" floor yesterday morning. We got a visit this evening from our team of Dr's, and we were told that I no longer HAD to stay in bed all the time!!! I am able to leave the room twice a day for an hour or two, I can also shower everyday, and use the toilet!!!!!! Ben, Brooke and Blake are doing fabulous, moving ALL THE TIME!!!!!

Here is whats new with the babies......

Benjamin is still head down like he has been since about week 15, his head is VERY low and his feet curve to the left side of my belly. Brooklynn completely flipped over and is now head up with her feet down by Ben's head. Blake also flipped and is now head down by Ben's feet and his feet are up by my rib cage. We are excited for our next growth scan to see how much they weigh, should be around 27 weeks. I had been doing alot of complaining lately about being on bedrest mostly because I am just so tired. I did ALOT of thinking yesterday and I am truly blessed to really have no other issues except that my cervix has disappeared, I now spend my days thinking I am doing a great job just carrying these babies as long as I can! Carl has truly been my saviour throught this last 6 weeks that I have been "stuck" on bedrest, I could not do it without him here. He is going to make the best daddy ever!

Now we just sit and wait for our miracles to arrive!!!!!!
